Leadership

Travis Houston has served as Lead Pastor since 2008.  He and his wife, Sara, have a passion to see the city of Bogalusa reached with the gospel.  They have three children: Piper, Dashell, and Zoe and one very special English Bulldog, Mr. Winston.

Jagger Denmark has been a member of Bogalusa First Church since 2020 and joined the staff in 2023. He married his wife, Kaitlyn, in 2024; she serves as the manager of First Cup Coffee, and together they have two dogs, Scottie and Shiloh. Jagger became Youth Pastor in January 2026 and has a heart for helping students grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus.  

Piper Houston serves as the Church Creative Director and has been part of the creative ministry for five years. She joined the church staff in 2025 and is passionate about using creativity to capture every moment  in the church. Piper loves all things Sony cameras and is fueled by caffeine.
